The websites I’m sharing here are for short, mostly academic studies that I find both interesting and easy. When you sign up you have to fill out a bunch of questionaires–hang in there. The researchers have to be able to get the right demographics for their surveys.
These tests are best when you are just chilling on your laptop, perhaps watching something on TV. They pop up quickly and are filled quickly.
Helpful hint: Try to refrain from grabbing every survey that comes down the pike when you first start. I began with Prolific when we had a quiet weekend at home with few plans. I found it fun, so I did survey after survey, and now things have gone very quiet for me on Prolific. I’ve been assured on the SubReddit for this site that this is normal and that I’ll get surveys again when I leave the site alone for awhile.
Helpful hint 2: You might be placed on a waiting list. It’s ok, you’ll likely get through soon.
